Maintenance Plan

A comprehensive residential HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) preventative maintenance checklist helps ensure your system runs efficiently and reliably throughout the year. Customers get access to a proprietary portal to track their maintenance, service history, invoices, quotes, reviews, and ability to schedule and pay for services. Here’s a detailed checklist for maintaining your HVAC system.

  • Thermostat
    Check and calibrate the thermostat for accurate temperature control.
    Replace batteries if necessary.
  • Air Filters
    Inspect air filters and replace if dirty (typically every 1-3 months).
  • Blower Assembly
    Clean Blower assembly, including blower motor, fan blades, and housing.
    Check and adjust belt tension and alignment if applicable.
  • Electrical Components
    Inspect and tighten electrical connections.
    Check voltage and current on motors and other components.
  • Drainage System
    Inspect and clear the condensate drain line.
    Clean the condensate pan to prevent algae and mold growth.
  • Safety Controls
    Test Safety controls, including the high-limit switch, for proper operation.
  • Outdoor Maintenance
    Clean condenser coils to improve heat transfer and efficiency.
    Remove any debris or obstructions around the unit.
  • Refrigerant Levels
    Check refrigerant levels and recharge if necessary.
    Inspect for refrigerant leaks.
  • Electrical Components
    Inspect and tighten electrical connections.
    Check capacitor health and replace if weak or failing.
    Inspect contactor for wear and replace if necessary.
